Pier View Pub, proposed redesign

The Pier View Pub, a dive bar in the heart of downtown Oceanside, California, attracts a diverse crowd, composed primarily of misfits. The Pub was remiss in identity—not only one that reflected that of its patrons but also a concrete identity of any kind. The Pier View Pub now has the face that matches the personality that’s always been there as an establishment that uses unifying rebellion as a marketable edge.

Hotel Monaco Alexandria, proposed redesign

The Hotel Monaco Alexandria, part of the boutique Kimpton Hotel group, lives in an historical building just outside of Washington, D.C. The original designs did not reflect the rich history of the building or the city of Alexandria, nor did they reflect the sophistication of the hotel’s interior. This rebranding combines the look and feel of Old Town Alexandria, accentuating its historical relevance, with Kimpton’s forward-thinking and modern approach to hospitality.
